Lauren holds degrees as a counseling astrologer and as a fine artist and has interwoven both practices into a unique process of astrological counseling that is sensitive to a client's individual unfolding in self-awareness. Lauren believes that one of the most life affirming experiences is creative self-expression because in the activity of creatively expressing our unique individuality we are connecting our self to the creative source of All Life. Lauren works with a client's birth chart as a mapping of his or her unconscious which he or she expresses in a unique perception of reality. Lauren believes that a key to unlocking our full potential in life is in our understanding why we perceive reality as we do, and that the jewel of astrology is gaining insight into why we create the life that we have and how we can create the life that we want.
For the past thirty years Lauren has traveled a circuitous journey of self-awareness that has delighted in the discovery of the unfamiliar and unimagined. She began what has become her life quest as a visual artist passionately giving form to the creative spirit of life; then as a student of Tibetan Buddhism, Hatha Yoga, and the wisdom of Krishnamurti experiencing that same creative spirit within; and most recently, as a Certified Counseling Astrologer discovering the awesome power of the creative spirit of life manifest in every moment lived. The Buddha taught that we are creating ourself anew with every inhalation and exhalation of our breath, and astrology, which is much older than Buddha, is the oldest recorded system understanding the significance of the first breath of life in determining the potential of a life fulfilled.
As a Counseling Astrologer, Lauren has the unique opportunity to inter-weave the many colored threads of her life experiencing to help her clients experience the fine art of their unique self-awareness in order to become the soul creators of their life.
