A three-hour silent retreat with guidance as needed and an opportunity to develop or refine alternating sitting and walking meditation practices. Both experienced and novice meditators are welcome.
Meditation instruction and assistance will be available and there will be time for questions and answers. There will be a brief introductory dharma talk by insight meditation teacher Ann Barden. Ann and Jerry Steward will be available to advise and assist in any way needed. This is an opportunity to come away refreshed and inspired, with renewed dedication to develop and maintain a regular meditative practice for our own happiness and the benefit of all beings.
Wear comfortable clothes, bring a snack or light meal if desired. Water & tea will be provided. It will be possible to leave the retreat at any time, but the street door will not be open for entry after the first half hour.
