Dana’s new nutrition series covers the basics of healthy eating – to increase energy and vitality now and keep you healthy and strong well into the future! The classes are relaxed and informal with plenty of time for Q and A, and navigating some of the confusing mainstream ideas about what it means to be healthy and well with nutrition.

We will discuss various topics such as:

  • How to make healthy choices when eating out
  • Choosing seasonal and organic foods
  • Food combining
  • Food preparation and storage
  • Understanding protein, carbohydrates and fats
  • Balancing alkaline and acid forming foods
  • Mindful eating practices and optimizing digestion

  • Maintaining balanced blood sugar levels
