Christian Surier, Certified QiGong Teacher

Christian has been working as a healer since 1986, collaborating with doctors, psychotherapists and healers, both in France and Mexico. He studied Naturopathy and Relaxation Therapy. In May 1991, Christian was sent by the French Humanitarian Organization (NGO) Les Médecins-aux-Pieds-Nus (The Barefoot Doctors) to its health center in San Miguel de Allende in order to collaborate with local healers and doctors, caring for people with no resources. He fell under the spell of San Miguel and Mexico, so he decided to stay in this country for 10 years, working as a healer in SMA, Querétaro, San Cristóbal de las Casas, Taxco, and Mexico City.

In 1994, he collaborated with the Dolphin Therapy Center; on the same year, he was also certified as a Reiki Master.At the end of 2000 Christian returned to France to study Shiatsu with the Fédération Française de Shiatsu Traditionnel , as well as Relaxation Therapy the Centre d’Etudes et d’Applications de la Sophrologie where he was certified as a Relaxation Therapist in 2005.  Christian was certified as a Shiatsu Practitioner in 2005 and as a Teacher in 2008, and he also studied Phytotherapy with the Institut Europhyto, by which he is a Certified Phytothérapist.

In 2005, Christian began to study Qi Gong Thérapeutique at the Ling Gui School, by which he was certified as a teacher in 2009.

Christian Sourier returned to San Miguel de Allende in 2011, after travelling through South America for 5 months and working as a Therapist (December 2010-January 2011) at a psychiatric hospital for children  in Bolivia.
