Pregnancy Yoga
In this new class, Lelia mixes elements from Kundalini Yoga, as well as gentle exercise with meditation and chanting. Through Lelia’s gentle guidance, you can achieve deep relaxation and a great sense of invigoration, both of which are much needed during pregnancy. A crucial element of Lelia’s class is the atmosphere of love and bonding, which makes everybody feel comfortable and at ease.
The practice of Kundalini Yoga helps you figure out what your body requires as it changes and expands, and hormones take over. It supports the mother in all aspects – physical, emotional, and spiritual – through pregnancy and childbirth: indeed, the positions practiced in this class help students have a better control of their body during their pregnancy, creating a strong relationship between the baby and the mother since before childbirth.
Testimonials
I highly recommend Kundalini Yoga with Lelia. The gentle exercise combined with meditation and chanting was exaclty what I needed when I was pregnant and could not engage in a more active workout. Knowingly, Lelia guided us through the class, but in such a gentle manner that it felt as though there was no instructor at all and everybody just knew what to do. I found myself deeply relaxed during the meditation after exercise and invigorated by the end of the class. The whole atmosphere that Lelia creates in her class is that of love and bonding. Although I never knew her before nor the attendees, I felt at ease right away. Lelia tries to have everybody comfortable and customizes exercises to every person involved depending on their physical condition. She makes sure everyone’s up to speed and never is in a rush to fit into the limited time, which felt nice, especially when you’re new to Kundalini Yoga. I would definitely do it again next time I am pregnant again. - Mukarram Dadajonova.
My experience of taking Pregnancy Yoga with Lelia was very good, I began taking classes at around the 4th month of pregnancy and I continued until my 8th month, during these months it was very useful to be more relazed and to ahve a very strong connection with my baby. The positions help you have more control on your body and prepare for the special moment of childbirthing. Lelia always has a positive attitude and is very approachable, and the fact that she also has experience as a mother also makes it easy for her to give you some tips for pregnancy and for when you finally have your baby in your arms. – Paulina Canela
