Patricia Silva, MSc

Patricia received her bachelor’s degree as a Psychotherapist in Queretaro Mexico and then continued her studies in England in the areas of Psychotherapeutics and Attachment, Trauma and Loss. She also took many online courses such as “making practice in emergency department.”

Patricia has a deep desire to heal inner wounds in the human psyche. An example of this is Eye Movement Desensitization & Reprocessing (EMDR). With this new integrative, psychotherapeutic approach people who have suffered traumatic experiences like domestic violence, car crash accidents and more can be treated successfully.
Through her experience she noticed that the relationship with the therapist becomes a valuable support for persons who have made the decision to seek personal development.

PHILOSOPHY
Patricia uses 7 basic principles as a guide:
· Uses high confidentiality with all patients.
· Treats all patients with respect.
· Believes that there is not a quick fix approach in a true healing process.
· Continues to develop research in related topics.
· Continues professional development.
· Sets up workshops and lectures according to patient’s needs.
· Encourages all patients to live a healthy life while keeping in mind: body, mind and spirit.

CONSULTATION
The length of each treatment series varies, since each person has his/her own process to heal emotional scars & to develop trustworthiness towards the therapist. For example, in general terms, the length of and EMDR process would take around three months if meeting on a weekly basis. Most sessions are an hour and a half but that can also vary.
The cost of each session is $500 pesos.

SKYPE sessions are also available. The Skype address is failte79. These sessions can be paid by PayPal.
